What is Coursera? π€
I believe you may have heard about Coursera in some way. If you don't, let me briefly explain what it is.
Coursera is a global online learning platform or MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) that offers anyone, anywhere, access to thousands of online courses and degrees from over 200 leading universities and companies. You can choose to audit most courses for free if you don't need the certificate or pay to get a certificate.
You can also apply for financial aid from Coursera if you are unable to pay. It usually takes up to 15 days to process your application. Personally, I have had a 100% success rate applying for financial aid.

How can you utilize this as a student?
Whether it is a topic you are generally curious about or hoping to learn to be industry/job-ready? Search through the catalog of courses! You can find various topics from language learning, technology, culture, psychology, biology, and so much more! Choose the one you hope to learn and use the quota of one course per year for free! You can still pay, audit, or request financial aid for other courses if you hope to learn more.
Coursera breaks down the curriculum into few weeks. The days in each week contain bite-sized lecture videos, quizzes, assignments, general discussions, readings, and more. You can view the estimated amount of time needed for each and manage your time accordingly. After completing all the quizzes and assignments, you will get your certificate.
Conclusion
Never stop learning because life never stops teaching.
Be curious every day, there is so much more for us to learn out there. We are lucky to be in this era and have companies like Coursera Inc. providing these invaluable resources. Therefore, we should appreciate the opportunity and be a better version of ourselves every day.
